Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site instruction and guidance to customer personnel, and write or modify maintenance procedures.
  • •Perform quality control tests and/or product evaluation, and produce complete and timely reports focused on defining encountered problems.
  • •Direct personnel efforts for installation of control systems, sub-systems, equipment, or routine modification/repair.
  • •Deliver direct engineering advisory assistance to customers and act as a liaison within Emerson on equipment-related issues.
  • •Troubleshoot, solve problems, and support planning and decision-making for distributed control systems at customer locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a similar technical curriculum, or relevant field engineer experience in lieu of education.
  • •Experience with ControlWave SCADA.
  • •Understanding of basic networking and computer assembly/troubleshooting experience.
  • •Ability to travel up to 70–80% (including some weekends and overnight stays).
  • •Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
