Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze Clay’s systems to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
  • •Create and monitor meaningful performance metrics for components of services.
  • •Advise other engineering teams on scalable, performant feature design and implementation.
  • •Solve scalability challenges including sharding Postgres and Redis.
  • •Address critical scalability issues such as splitting ECS tasks into multiple services and resolving Node event loop blockages.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 170,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •A results-oriented mindset with a bias toward impact.
  • •Experience optimizing API latency and improving performance in production systems.
  • •Experience with SQL and related technologies, preferably Postgres.
