Manage a pipeline of consumer loan applications and guide customers through the origination process from intake to underwriting readiness. Proactively communicate with branch colleagues, underwriters, third-party service providers, and customers by phone and email, gathering information, resolving issues, and obtaining acceptance of terms. Sell loan products and related features, cross-sell services, and help expedite documents so loans are ready to close.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage a pipeline of consumer loan applications.
•Interact with customers, bankers/underwriters, and third-party service providers during loan origination.
•Proactively communicate by phone and email to explain terms, requirements, and conditions and obtain acceptance.
•Expedite the origination process by keeping parties updated and communicating new transaction information.
•Follow up on outstanding documents, research and resolve application issues, and cross-sell/up-sell loan products.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•3 or more years of experience in consumer lending or mortgage sales or processing.
•Excellent customer service skills with motivation and a goal-oriented mindset.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up.
