Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and maintain excellent working relationships with client teams, designers, consultants, sub-contractors and 3rd party stakeholders.
  • •Maintain the company’s reputation for collaboration by delivering safely on time, within budget, with quality of finish and defect-free work.
  • •Manage the operational aspects of the project to minimise risks and maximise opportunities.
  • •Develop and maintain a robust construction programme, updated to reflect all project time constraints.
  • •Ensure procurement schedule is produced and aligned to the construction programme; oversee appointment of all sub-contractors and suppliers; manage the construction phase health and safety plan and HSQE compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience as a Project Director with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
  • •End-to-end construction delivery experience on larger schemes (£100m - £500m)
  • •Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of construction procedures
  • •MCIOB and degree qualified in a related subject
  • •Up-to-date knowledge of building legislation and Health & Safety legislation
