Job Summary

Lead pre- and post-contract commercial management for a major capital projects portfolio, partnering with procurement, project teams, suppliers, and delivery partners. Develop procurement and contracting strategies, manage contract lifecycle activities from tendering through award, change, claims, and close-out, and support contract negotiations. Prepare ITTs, tender documentation, commercial evaluation criteria, and framework/call-off agreements while monitoring compliance, variations, risk, and supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Support development and implementation of procurement and contracting strategies aligned with business objectives and project requirements.
•Lead end-to-end Contract Lifecycle Management activities from sourcing/tendering through contract award, administration, change management, claims, and close-out.
•Prepare project contracting strategies, ITTs, tender documentation, contract award recommendations, and commercial evaluation criteria.
•Support sourcing and procurement of complex goods and services, including competitive tender processes and evaluation of supplier proposals.
•Manage commercial risk and compliance across the contract lifecycle, including variations, dispute resolution, and supplier performance monitoring.

Key Requirements

•Demonstrable experience in procurement, commercial management, contract management, or supply chain roles, ideally in renewable energy, utilities, infrastructure, engineering, or construction.
•Knowledge of onshore and offshore renewable energy projects and contracting models across development, construction, and operations/maintenance.
•Experience managing contracts through the full project lifecycle, including tendering, award, administration, change management, and claims management.
•Strong understanding of supplier sourcing, tender evaluations, procurement governance, and contract negotiation principles.
•Familiarity with standard forms of contract such as NEC, FIDIC, LOGIC, or equivalent industry contracts.
