Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Paris data collection floor, setting the execution and quality bar for day-to-day collection work and helping the team scale.
  • •Own complex collection setups end-to-end, turning loosely defined requests into working, repeatable tasks including fixtures, props, environment, and procedures.
  • •Create high-quality training data by wearing gloves and cameras, teleoperating hardware, producing precise demonstrations, and performing review/quality checks.
  • •Translate research and model engineering requests into physical collection tasks, feed observations back, and iterate on setups and collection strategy.
  • •Write and improve playbooks (SOPs, quality checks, training materials), guide and mentor other operators, and support real-robot testing.

Key Requirements

  • •Deliver precise, repetitive physical work to a high quality bar and explain how you measured quality (e.g., data collection, robotics lab work, assembly, fine craft).
  • •Build repeatable processes from vague requests using the right fixtures, environment, and written procedure, with minimal engineering support.
  • •Operate autonomously and take ownership of complex collection tasks, including reviewing outputs for unusable/below-standard data.
  • •Have led, trained, or mentored others in hands-on work and want to establish execution and quality standards for a growing team.
  • •Be technically handy with Linux and some Python scripting to automate repetitive work; hardware assembly and troubleshooting experience is a plus.
