Job Summary

The Aircraft Technician will perform routine maintenance, servicing, and approved repairs on Emirates aircraft (A380/B777) and components, under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. Responsibilities include reading AMM/IPC/CMM docs, safety and regulatory compliance, walk-around support, and ensuring timely, safe operations with strong attention to housekeeping and defect communication.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out routine aircraft/engine/component servicing/maintenance and/or approved structural repairs in accordance with manufacturer procedures while observing safety requirements.
•Complete component replacements and other maintenance activities as directed, using AMM, IPC, CMM or other approved documentation.
•Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in walk-around checks on arrival/departure, troubleshoot, rectify defects and carry out modifications as instructed in the job card.
•Promote and participate in safety culture, maintain clean work locations and housekeeping, and be vigilant to prevent FOD with regular audits of areas, vehicles, stands, lockers and toolboxes.
•Be fully conversant with airport safety regulations, including an airport driving permit, and comply with airport manoeuvring area requirements.
•Collaborate with supervisors on development plans including training, strengths/weaknesses, and timelines; maintain grooming standards and attendance.
•Ensure timely attendance to tasks to maximize ground time and effectively communicate defects to the LAE during handovers.

•Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance.
•Significant post-training experience in an Aircraft Maintenance environment or in Line/Base Maintenance.
•Training with a reputable airline or approved maintenance organisation or holding an Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License is advantageous.
•Thorough knowledge of technical skills, A/C systems, servicing techniques, safety practices, and ability to use tooling properly.
•Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
