Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform security analysis of operational and development environments to assess compliance with accepted industry and government standards.
  • •Lead and implement Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes under RMF for new and existing information systems.
  • •Facilitate and support security documentation (MOU, ISA, RAL) and Continuous Monitoring (CONMON).
  • •Oversee configuration management and auditing to maintain security posture integrity; oversee risk assessments, mitigations, and incident response activities.
  • •Prepare technical reports and briefings; advise management and customers on advanced technical security research studies.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully complete Tier 5 Investigation (T5/SSBI) within the last 5 years, or be enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years.
  • •Hold an IAM Level 1 DoD 8140.03 (8570.01) compliant certification (Security+ CE, CAP, CISSP, CASP, CISM, or GSLC).
  • •3+ years of combined experience and/or education in cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
  • •3+ years of experience with RMF, cybersecurity policies, and RMF implementation (e.g., DAAG, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, NIST SP 800 series).
  • •3+ years using RMF security tools/systems (e.g., NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, HBSS).
