Job Summary

Drive product and process development programs by applying customer needs and internal technology capabilities to design, develop, and implement solutions. Lead or support stage-gate programs, plan and analyze production trials using Design of Experiments, Lean Six Sigma, and statistical analysis, and ensure technical documentation and knowledge sharing. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and improve manufacturing performance while protecting intellectual property and advancing training and global technical community contributions.

•Recommend, design, develop, and implement products and/or processes aligned to customer/market needs and business strategy.
•Represent the company’s technical voice with internal stakeholders and customers, staying current on relevant technology trends.
•Drive critical-to-quality specifications and lead/support stage-gate programs through planning, execution, and analysis of production trials.
•Ensure proper documentation of work and contribute to a knowledge library without duplicating prior work.
•Lead technical process developments and improvements, collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Quality to resolve technical challenges.

Key Requirements

•Undergraduate degree required (Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science preferred).
•5-8+ years technical experience in manufacturing R&D or a Process role across multiple technical processes.
•Experience leading product and process development projects with demonstrated sustained results.
•Ability to synthesize information across inputs and apply it to business results.
•Proficiency applying tools within Project Management, Design of Experiment, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and Statistical Analysis.
