Key Responsibilities

  • •Research and document emerging endpoint security threats across OS-level, hardware, and firmware, including exploit behaviors and stealthy attack techniques.
  • •Analyze attacks observed in the wild, assess risk and likely impact, and identify mitigation approaches through HP or industry solutions.
  • •Research public sources, vulnerability disclosures, technical reports, and proof-of-concept material to produce evidence-led threat assessments.
  • •Translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation for technical experts, non-technical teams, and external stakeholders.
  • •Create external-facing threat research content (e.g., blog posts, technical reports, conference submissions) and communicate technical findings to customers and partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong endpoint security background with proven experience in computer security architecture and low-level systems security.
  • •Ability to analyze malware, vulnerabilities, exploit behaviors, attack methods, and proof-of-concept material to assess risk, maturity, and impact.
  • •Knowledge of OS architecture fundamentals (Windows, Linux) and familiarity with reverse engineering tools.
  • •Experience with attack and killchain analysis standard frameworks, and working from public sources and vulnerability disclosures.
  • •Writing and communication skills to produce clear technical reports and convey complex threat research to both technical and non-technical audiences.
