Lead and scale the Air Dominance & Strike team’s simulation engineering organization, modernizing legacy simulation frameworks into modular, API-driven architectures. Support growth by collaborating with business development on feasibility, and leading technical proposal writing to expand the team’s footprint.

•Partner with the Chief Engineer to define technical direction, modernize simulation architectures, and own successful project execution.
•Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across government-owned simulation environments and defense agencies.
•Partner with business development to identify opportunities, assess technical feasibility, and lead technical proposal writing.
•Coordinate across internal specialist teams to solve complex simulation and mission autonomy problems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 330,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Active U.S. Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
•5+ years managing software engineering teams, including hiring, scaling, and developing talent.
•5+ years of hands-on software development experience with complex systems architecture and API design.
•Experience developing, deploying, and testing software in secure, classified, or air-gapped environments.
•Experience partnering with business development on technical proposals and scoping work for government contracts.
