Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a tailored Dukhan Procurement Plan in line with BAE Systems procurement governance.
  • •Manage day-to-day contractual performance of on-base FSRs and provide monthly performance reports.
  • •Conduct VFM analysis and recommend routes to additional efficiency/cost savings for future negotiations.
  • •Coordinate tenders and supplier engagement to ensure requirements are understood and appropriately supported with timely lead times.
  • •Raise and prepare procurement documentation and artefacts (e.g., DMFs, purchase orders, payment plans, CoAs, invoices) and support supplier visits in a military airbase environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified, or working towards MCIPs Level 5.
  • •Minimum two years’ experience in a Procurement Engineer role or similar.
  • •Experience working in the Middle East.
  • •Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations in both the UK and Qatar.
  • •Fluent in English (minimum IELTS 7.0/CEFR C1) and able to coordinate multiple priorities with high autonomy.
