Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement firmware enhancements, updates, and programming changes for subsystems (including DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers/applications, and BIOS/UEFI).
  • •Own end-to-end feature development from requirements through design, implementation, integration, and validation across firmware layers.
  • •Write and execute testing plans, protocols, and documentation; resolve code issues and integrate into application architecture.
  • •Perform deep system-level debugging across hardware, firmware, and software interfaces using logs, tracing, and diagnostic tools to resolve complex issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
  • •Typically 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in firmware development, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years.
  • •Experience with end-to-end product/feature development in embedded systems and colour science (advantage).
  • •Strong system-level design and problem-solving skills, including debugging across hardware, firmware, and software layers.
  • •Proficiency in Agile and firmware architecture/modular design best practices.
