Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead human health risk assessments, ecological risk assessments, exposure assessments, and related environmental health studies that inform project decisions.
  • •Provide senior technical direction in toxicology, exposure assessment, risk characterization, and regulatory interpretation for complex work across Canada.
  • •Direct multidisciplinary teams integrating environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, geology, toxicology, and regulatory expertise into clear solutions.
  • •Develop risk management strategies supporting remediation, environmental approvals, impact assessments, and contaminated sites management.
  • •Mentor emerging professionals and strengthen client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • •Extensive progressive experience conducting and leading human health and ecological risk assessments in environmental consulting, industry, or government.
  • •Demonstrated expertise in Canadian federal and provincial risk assessment frameworks, technical guidance, and regulatory processes.
  • •Advanced knowledge of toxicology, exposure modelling, fate and transport concepts, risk characterization, and environmental health science.
  • •Proven ability to lead complex technical projects, budgets, schedules, quality reviews, and multidisciplinary teams toward defensible outcomes.
Education:Master's in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Environmental Health, Public Health, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
