Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform, inspect, review, and certify scheduled and unscheduled composite maintenance activities on components and structures per approved technical data and authorizations.
  • •Ensure composite maintenance compliance with MOE, applicable regulations (GCAA CAR Part V and CAR-145; EASA Part-145), repair manuals, engineering instructions, and procedures.
  • •Assess defects in composite components (e.g., delamination, disbonding, impact damage, cracking, moisture ingress) and apply approved repair schemes.
  • •Control and verify composite preparation/repair processes and parameters (e.g., temperature, pressure, vacuum, curing time, humidity, resin ratio, material orientation) with proper environmental and contamination controls.
  • •Verify inspections/tests and completed work quality before certification, complete maintenance documentation, and support audits and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate Degree (2 years) and a Diploma in Aeronautical/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • •Fluent English.
  • •3 years relevant experience, including 2 years from the aeronautical industry in aircraft/component/workshop maintenance.
  • •Hands-on experience within a Composite Shop.
  • •CAR-147 approved GCAA module 9 & 10 mandatory (UAE GCAA basic license without type or Company Authorization required; EASA module 9 & 10 preferred).
