Job Summary

Lead the reliability engineering of multiple electric mobility vehicles across the full development cycle. Own reliability targets and metrics, design and run reliability test procedures (including highly accelerated life and environmental testing), apply acceleration models, and communicate test plan and report results. Guide teams on failure modes, countermeasures, and design risk, facilitate cross-functional FMEAs, and monitor field performance to identify failure trends.

•Establish reliability targets and metrics for vehicle components including actuators, batteries, drive units, PCBAs, chassis, and low-voltage electronics.
•Develop reliability test procedures and specifications (e.g., highly accelerated life testing and environmental testing) and apply acceleration models to predict product lifetime.
•Prepare test plans, analyze test reports, and provide updates on testing campaign progress.
•Guide engineering teams on failure modes, countermeasures, and design guidelines, including risk analysis to inform design decisions.
•Lead and facilitate FMEAs with cross-functional teams, develop design verification plans, and monitor field performance to identify failure trends.

Key Requirements

•Minimum Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline or equivalent, plus 2+ years of industry experience in a reliability engineering role.
•Technical knowledge of PCBA reliability, energy storage systems, drive units, and chassis components.
•Working knowledge of a coding language, preferably Python.
•Working knowledge of statistical reliability software such as JMP/ReliaSoft or MATLAB.
•Working knowledge of failure analysis techniques (SEM, CT, X-Ray, EDS, TDR) and instrumentation for data collection (thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers).
