Job Summary

Work with Account Executives to deliver technical and business value to Databricks customers across your territory. Act as a trusted advisor and big data analytics expert, guiding architecture, design, and implementation to drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and build regional momentum through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups while growing into a technical and/or industry specialist.

Key Responsibilities

•Build successful client relationships in your assigned territory alongside Account Executives.
•Act as a big data analytics expert and trusted advisor to drive architecture, design, and implementation decisions.
•Scale best practices by authoring reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications.
•Support regional community building through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
•Develop into a technical and/or industry specialist over time.

Key Requirements

•Engage in technical sales by challenging customer questions, guiding clear outcomes, and communicating technical and value propositions.
•Develop customer relationships and collaborate internally with Account Executives and teams.
•Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, with willingness to learn a base level of Spark.
•Be proficient in big data analytics with hands-on experience delivering complex proofs-of-concept on public cloud platforms.
•Have experience discovering use cases, scoping engagements, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences across varying technical depths.
