Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, continually improve, and document robust solar module manufacturing processes to achieve high performance cost-effectively.
  • •Lead scale-up and qualification of new processes and equipment from R&D through pilot and 24x7 high-volume manufacturing.
  • •Initiate and lead complex equipment or process changes using the CMS stage-gate process and replicate results globally.
  • •Conduct in-depth investigations into process issues and implement corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvements.
  • •Evaluate new equipment proposals, review experiment proposals and results, lead task forces/project teams, and manage technical staff.

Salary: USD 112,300 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in an engineering discipline or physical science field (or equivalent).
  • •More than 8 years of process engineering and/or R&D experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in areas such as thin-film deposition, thermal processing, wet coatings, automation, laser processing, or process/device integration.
  • •Fluent with statistical analysis methods and structured problem-solving; able to analyze large datasets using tools such as JMP, SAS, or Minitab.
  • •Experience in photovoltaics manufacturing flow or technology development across thin film vacuum deposition, glass thermo-mechanical processing, module packaging, and related semiconductor/electrical integration.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead small technical teams and manage performance through goal-setting and technical leadership.
