Job Summary

Support the Company and Project HSE Managers in implementing the HSE management system. Assist with planning, execution, evaluation, and analysis of on-site health, safety, and environmental activities to meet project HSE targets. Help ensure compliance with PHSP and HSEMS requirements by monitoring hazards and unsafe practices, raising observation reports, recording corrective actions, and supporting safety training, incident reporting, and resolution in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist in implementing and ensuring compliance with the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Programme.
•Arrange, conduct, and participate in HSE training sessions, HSE Committee, and coordination meetings.
•Advise supervisory staff on accident prevention and improvements related to work methods.
•Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite and monitoring HSE activities against project HSE plans and HSEMS requirements.
•Identify hazards and unsafe work conditions daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, address violations, and support incident reporting and resolution per company/IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years working experience with 3 years of relevant experience in HSE.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Level 6 Diploma in OHS; Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
•Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, procedures, and instructions, including Qatar and international safety standards.
•Strong knowledge of integrated management systems and environmental regulations (air, wastewater, hazardous waste).
•ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, and ability to manage MSDS/chemical material information.
