Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the design and continuous improvement of the HSFE Management System and help embed a proactive safety culture through engagement and training.
  • •Identify emerging risks with operational teams and design mitigation plans ahead of need.
  • •Deliver site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; ensure identified actions are tracked and completed.
  • •Support investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and track corrective actions.
  • •Maintain HSFE documentation and reporting to Group standards and regulatory requirements, and provide daily guidance and troubleshooting on H&S matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid understanding of UK health and safety legislation and how to apply it in an operational environment.
  • •Proven experience conducting risk assessments, site audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • •Experience delivering HSFE advice, training, and guidance to managers and operational staff across multiple sites.
  • •Strong knowledge of incident reporting requirements (e.g., RIDDOR) and relevant regulatory body standards.
  • •NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) desirable; working towards a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is an advantage.
