Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist technicians with scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance, servicing, fault finding, and repair on equipment/vehicles/plant.
  • •Plan individual tasks daily and maintain workshop and work-area housekeeping while taking care of tools.
  • •Help diagnose and repair faults/defects during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • •Record shift work activities in the log book/work order to support Maintenance Management System planning.
  • •Follow standard safety procedures and assist with ULD repairs/assembly and facility maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, GPU/PCA, generators).

Key Requirements

  • •Completed a 2 years Trade certificate course in an engineering discipline.
  • •Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience within a large maintenance organization (Facilities, Auto, Electric, Civil, or Mechanic), ideally aviation ground support and/or cargo handling.
  • •Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronic systems for light vehicles or material handling equipment/systems is an advantage.
  • •Specialized training on hydraulics/lifting equipment/conveyor systems/material handling equipment/PLC/AC-DC motor control systems/traction batteries & chargers is an advantage.
  • •Ability to communicate in English (verbal & written).
