Job Summary

Join Red Hat’s Incident Response Team in Brno to respond to product security vulnerabilities and incidents. Coordinate triage, remediation, and mitigation for high-impact issues across Red Hat offerings, working closely with security architects, product managers, and developers. Help improve the software development life cycle for more secure products, support customer-facing CVE-related documentation, and assess new flaws’ impact and risk for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Respond to security vulnerabilities and incidents in Red Hat product portfolio offerings.
•Coordinate triage, remediation, and mitigation for high-impact vulnerabilities affecting Red Hat products and services.
•Coordinate internally and externally with stakeholders to manage vulnerabilities and security incidents effectively.
•Work with developers to improve the software development life cycle for more secure Red Hat products and services.
•Research new flaws’ impact, communicate risk to stakeholders, and contribute customer-facing security documentation and CVE-related data.

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of Go/Node.js or TypeScript, Linux, kubernetes, and container platforms.
•Interest in security technologies and methodologies such as authentication/authorization, encryption, and risk assessments.
•Experience assessing security vulnerability impact across confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
•Experience with flaw analysis, including building reproducers that demonstrate software bugs.
•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
