Drive technical evaluations and solution designs for Databricks customers across the Kansai region (Osaka/Kyoto). Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concepts for the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. Author reference architectures and demo applications, integrate Databricks with third-party systems, and deliver workshops and meet-ups to support the technical community and customer data/AI outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept phases for Databricks evaluations.
•Drive prospects through evaluating and adopting Databricks for analytics, AI, and big data use cases.
•Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications to support customer outcomes.
•Integrate Databricks with third-party applications to fit customer enterprise ecosystems.
•Engage the technical community by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups in the Kansai region.

Key Requirements

•Pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients across multiple industries.
•Customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience, with strong background in data engineering or data science.
•Experience presenting technical concepts and conducting whiteboarding sessions.
•Experience designing and implementing architectures in public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•Experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark, AI, data science/data engineering, Hadoop, and Cassandra.
