Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage assigned suppliers/programs by standardizing effective, repeatable supply chain processes and developing sourcing strategies.
  • •Establish supplier selection criteria, run RFQs, and drive final supplier selection with Product Management, Engineering, Quality, and cross-functional partners.
  • •Negotiate supplier agreements to achieve best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
  • •Develop contingency plans to de-risk technical challenges, long lead times, single-source risk, and other supply issues; resolve part shortages/quality problems impacting production.
  • •Own and manage ramp plans, ongoing production plans and forecasts, tooling qualification schedules, tooling life, and provide executive-level supplier relationship management and business review updates.

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • •5-7 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments.
  • •5-7 years direct experience in supplier and supply chain management.

  • •Ability to use world-class sourcing methods/tools and analyze costs (e.g., cost modeling, quotation analysis) to support supplier selection and sourcing decisions.
