Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre-coating operations including surface preparation and masking, and execute post-coating tasks such as fixture removal, masking removal, troubleshooting, and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
  • •Carry out minor repairs on coating equipment as applicable and perform Total Preventive Maintenance on machines/equipment.
  • •Deburr, blend, polish, countersink, grind, drill, and grit blast surfaces and details of aerospace engine components using hand and power tools.
  • •Check parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using precision measuring tools and ensure completed parts meet quality requirements.
  • •Assist engineers and others in developing new or changed operations and make recommendations to improve operating parameters and processes.

Key Requirements

  • •0-1 years of related experience, or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+ years of related experience.

  • •Experience with metal finishing methods and/or spray coating/paint application, machining, grinding, and/or welding.
  • •Experience with computerized machine operation.
