Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead construction oversight and coordination for new mine development civil, earthworks, and large concrete pour scopes aligned to design/specifications and regulatory standards.
  • •Manage construction contractors and field teams with performance oversight for safety, cost, schedule, and quality.
  • •Act as the primary interface between contractors, engineering, procurement, and project controls to support communication and risk mitigation.
  • •Coordinate with design engineers, geotechnical teams, and stakeholders to support constructability, sequencing, and field modifications.
  • •Drive safety culture and oversee QA/QC, inspection, and material testing; develop execution plans, schedules, risk registers, and cost tracking for earthworks and concrete components.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management is preferred, or trade school or equivalent work experience.
  • •5+ years of relevant experience in large-scale heavy civil construction, concrete pours, and/or mining infrastructure.
  • •Hands-on construction management experience in active mining settings, including tracking and documenting multiple vendors.
  • •Understanding of heap leach pad construction, stacking systems, solution management infrastructure, and related environmental controls (preferred).
  • •Commitment to safety with MSHA 48B Surface required (OSHA 30-hour training preferred).
