Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage the Standard Cell Library team in Malaysia across all standard cell library functions.
  • •Drive execution through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, and differentiated performance management.
  • •Continuously improve design organization and development processes to increase efficiency and quality standards.
  • •Lead standard cell library development and optimization activities with collaboration across process technologists, product design, IFS stakeholders, and EDA vendors to achieve best-in-class PPA and Ease of Use.
  • •Assume leadership for engineering work spanning circuit and layout design, extraction/characterization execution, FE/BE modeling, reliability/IR-drop characterization, automation, and standardization of development and validation flows.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of experience across standard cell library domains including circuit design, std cell layouts, extraction, characterization, modeling, reliability/IR-drop characterization, validation, documentation, and library releases (including customer support).
  • •Deep knowledge of digital logic design and standard cell library development in advanced nodes.
  • •Strong ability to interpret industry benchmarks, create and drive strategies, and work independently while managing diverse assignments in a complex environment.
  • •Strong self-initiative and persistence, with the ability to handle ambiguity and task/deadline pressure.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, including synthesizing complex information into clear messages for presentations.
