Key Responsibilities

•Author and revise aerospace technical manuals and publications including AMM, MP, CMM/CMP, IPD, WDM, FIM, and service bulletins.
•Analyze and interpret complex engineering source data (drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams) to develop accurate maintenance procedures.
•Ensure authored content complies with industry standards such as S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100.
•Manage technical content in a CSDB environment, including creation and management of Data Modules (DMs), and perform configuration analysis to assess impacts.
•Use XML/SGML-based authoring tools to create and manage structured content and collaborate with illustrators to integrate technical illustrations into procedures.

Key Requirements

•B. Tech/B. E in Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Instrumentation with 3 to 8 years of relevant technical authoring experience in the aerospace or defense industry (post-graduation desirable).
•In-depth hands-on knowledge of S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100 specifications.
•Advanced proficiency with XML/SGML structured authoring tools such as PTC Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker (Structured), and Oxygen XML Editor.
•Experience working with aerospace documentation/data tools and databases including Team Center, SAP, Agile PLM, Windchill, 3D Via, and work tracker tools such as JIRA.
•Experience using CAD and illustration tools (e.g., PTC Iso Draw, Adobe Illustrator, CATIA V5) and interpreting complex engineering data (drawings, schematics, service bulletins).
