Key Responsibilities

  • •Author and revise aerospace technical manuals and publications including AMM, MP, CMM/CMP, IPD, WDM, FIM, and service bulletins.
  • •Analyze and interpret complex engineering source data (drawings, specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams) to develop accurate maintenance procedures.
  • •Ensure authored content complies with industry standards such as S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100.
  • •Manage technical content in a CSDB environment, including creation and management of Data Modules (DMs), and perform configuration analysis to assess impacts.
  • •Use XML/SGML-based authoring tools to create and manage structured content and collaborate with illustrators to integrate technical illustrations into procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •B. Tech/B. E in Electronics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Instrumentation with 3 to 8 years of relevant technical authoring experience in the aerospace or defense industry (post-graduation desirable).
  • •In-depth hands-on knowledge of S1000D, ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, and ASD-STE100 specifications.
  • •Advanced proficiency with XML/SGML structured authoring tools such as PTC Arbortext Editor, Adobe FrameMaker (Structured), and Oxygen XML Editor.
  • •Experience working with aerospace documentation/data tools and databases including Team Center, SAP, Agile PLM, Windchill, 3D Via, and work tracker tools such as JIRA.
  • •Experience using CAD and illustration tools (e.g., PTC Iso Draw, Adobe Illustrator, CATIA V5) and interpreting complex engineering data (drawings, schematics, service bulletins).
