Job Summary

Build and maintain automated provisioning for secure data workspaces (PreProd/Prod) to help VA users rapidly adopt modern data tools. Pre-create standardized workspaces with analytics and visualization tooling, configure Databricks and VA VHA Data Lake services, and support warehouse access provisioning. Provide white-glove onboarding and troubleshooting, collaborate with Customer Success and engineering teams, and ensure compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and maintain automated processes for provisioning data workspaces (PreProd and Prod) with appropriate tools, configurations, and access controls.
•Pre-create standardized workspaces with commonly used analytics, engineering, and visualization tools to streamline onboarding and improve user experience.
•Implement and manage linked services, mount points, and catalog configuration within Databricks and VA VHA Data Lake, including automated data warehouse access provisioning.
•Provide white-glove customer success services such as onboarding sessions, office hours, rapid async support, and creation of reusable templates, guides, and documentation.
•Troubleshoot data access, workspace configuration, pipelines, cataloging, and permissions issues; collaborate with Customer Success, Business Analysts, and Platform Engineering to refine intake and improve reliability and performance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (or related field) or commensurate experience.
•12+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or a similar role.
•Strong experience with Databricks and Azure data services, including workspace administration, catalog creation, linked services, storage mounts, and access configuration.
•Proficiency in data engineering fundamentals including ETL/ELT pipeline development and data modeling for structured and unstructured datasets.
•Ability to automate provisioning workflows and infrastructure using scripting or infrastructure-as-code tools (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
