Key Responsibilities

•Define the multi-quarter deployment roadmap for network infrastructure across data centers, edge sites, and backbone interconnects.
•Author and ratify internal RFCs and standards for physical and logical deployment (cabling, optics, fabric provisioning, validation, handoff).
•Partner with Network Architecture to shape scalable designs and ensure deployability at hyperscale pace.
•Define the deployment automation platform (ZTP, IaC, validation tooling) using Python, Ansible, and CI/CD to stage and validate hundreds of devices.
•Establish burn-in, SAT, and commissioning criteria across the fleet for zero-defect handovers to Operations.

•12+ years of network engineering experience with large-scale data center deployments in hyperscale, cloud, or ISP environments.
•Proven technical leadership including authoring standards, mentoring engineers, and driving multi-quarter initiatives.
•Experience with hyperscale operations (10K+ devices, multi-region fabric deployments) and physical layer standards (SMF/MMF, MPO/MTP) and data center power/cooling.
•Routing and switching fluency with Arista (EOS), Juniper (Junos), and NVIDIA/Mellanox in leaf-spine architectures.
•Automation expertise in Python and Ansible; familiarity with IaC and CI/CD patterns.
