Key Responsibilities

  • •Weld production and more difficult prototype instrumentation piece parts using various welding processes, including TIG and/or MIG.
  • •Advise Engineering on technical welding aspects of new units and fixtures, including set-ups, and define equipment settings based on product needs.
  • •Troubleshoot problem welding areas and consult the failure analysis team on weld failures.
  • •Provide welding support to other welders and may train other welders as needed.
  • •Set up fixtures and lay out work for production and prototype piece parts; perform miscellaneous work as required.
