Job Summary

Build and maintain detection engineering and incident response capabilities for a global AI company. Triage security alerts, conduct investigations, and lead response efforts while developing and tuning detection rules. Work hands-on with Google SecOps (Chronicle) SIEM, security monitoring across endpoints and SaaS, and cloud security monitoring in Google Cloud (GCP) including Security Command Center (SCC). Automate detection and response workflows using Python and Bash.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain detection and incident response capabilities for security operations, including triaging alerts and leading response efforts.
•Develop, tune, and maintain security detection rules and alerts to improve coverage and reduce manual work.
•Operate and enhance SIEM workflows in Google SecOps (Chronicle), including data onboarding, parsing, rule creation, and dashboarding.
•Monitor and support security across endpoints and SaaS platforms such as JAMF MDM, Google Workspace, and Okta.
•Automate detection and response tasks using scripting while improving cloud security monitoring in GCP, including SCC.

•Proven experience in incident response and security operations, including triaging security alerts, conducting investigations, and leading response efforts.
