Job Summary

Become a Retail Personal Banker I through a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, ending with a certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessments to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling. Proactively reach customers with approved marketing tools, set review appointments, meet production goals, and refer to business partners for holistic financial solutions while processing teller transactions.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customer bases and participate in outside sales activities, including onsite presentations and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes, including owning sourced loans from application through closing.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer households and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•SAFE Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
