Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary engineering point of contact for maintenance during ground and flight test operations.
  • •Interpret blueprints, 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to resolve discrepancies in real time.
  • •Evaluate defects/nonconformances and issue engineering dispositions (use-as-is, repair, rework) within delegated authority; support MRB discussions.
  • •Create and oversee redline drawing changes and field modifications; draft step-by-step repair instructions and minor structural/electrical analyses for mechanics.
  • •Maintain configuration management traceability by documenting redlines/repairs/nonconformances in PLM/MES/ERP and feeding findings back to design engineering via RCCA.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •3+ years supporting aviation maintenance, flight test, or liaison/MRB engineering.
  • •Ability to read, interpret, and redline complex engineering drawings/blueprints/electrical schematics with working knowledge of GD&T.
  • •Familiarity with aircraft structures (composite and/or metallic) and systems (mechanical, electrical, or avionics).
  • •Experience using 3D CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, SolidWorks) and PLM/ERP/MES systems for configuration and nonconformance tracking.
