Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate sheet metal fabrication machines, including reading shop orders and understanding engineering drawings.
  • •Perform quality checks and use calibration equipment such as calipers (or other necessary equipment).
  • •Work with flat sheet metal (steel and aluminum).
  • •Run machine operations including brake press, hammer flanger, buffalo roller, and hand scribing/shearing.
  • •Complete safety and quality training such as power press guarding, trip devices, inspections, dye setting, light curtain procedures, and first-piece/in-process inspections.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 6 months of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • •No relocation benefit; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered.
  • •Preferred: 2+ years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
