Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and execute the global L&D strategy to align with Professional Google Cloud Certifications and Skill Badges across the technical workforce.
  • •Build AI and Generative AI curricula, create and scale learning programs and role-based pathways, and own “Accelerator” reskilling programs.
  • •Commercialise Datatonic’s training expertise externally through Datatonic Academy—support go-to-market, customer education, and Google Cloud ATP management.
  • •Own the culture and engagement engine: plan hackathons/events, design incentive and gamification programs, and oversee the content lifecycle.
  • •Scale early-career programs (apprenticeships, graduate schemes, returner programs) and lead bespoke training initiatives for emerging trends and regional growth.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of progressive leadership in L&D, ideally in a fast-paced technology consultancy, MSP, or global digital transformation agency.
  • •Proven experience running L&D as a business unit, including commercialising training products or leading a client-facing L&D function.
  • •Strong familiarity with the cloud ecosystem (Google Cloud preferred) and the AI/Generative AI landscape; be able to communicate with data engineers and data scientists.
  • •Ability to design global learning frameworks and stay close to execution to ensure content quality and event success.
  • •Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to influence C-suite executives and engage engineering teams and enterprise B2B clients.
