Key Responsibilities

  • •Use technology to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, diagnose issues, and order parts.
  • •Practice safe job practices while repairing equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot equipment failures in the shop and at customer locations, performing repairs.
  • •Travel to customer job sites when required to perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete and timely daily electronic documentation of work performed and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to read and know schematics and calculate nominal/effective tonnage and/or kW requirements.
  • •Superior customer service skills, teamwork, and verbal/written communication.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred, and EPA 608 certification preferred (obtainable within 6–12 months).
