Job Summary

Support and engineer a distributed, enterprise macOS environment for the CBP End User Device IT Management Services team. Provide onsite desk-side support and Tier II–IV macOS/device-management troubleshooting, resolve tickets, and support core enterprise apps. Independently handle engineering work including application packaging, configuration profiles, patching, security compliance (mSCP), vulnerability remediation, change deployment, and automation for provisioning and identity workflows in a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide onsite desk-side, walk-up, and appointment-based support for macOS users, including VIP and senior executive leadership.
•Perform Tier II–IV troubleshooting for macOS, device-management, and application issues, driving resolutions before escalation.
•Resolve tickets in the ticketing system with clear documentation of steps, root cause, and resolution.
•Package, test, and deploy macOS applications for Apple silicon (ARM) and Intel devices; build and validate configuration profiles.
•Apply security compliance baselines (mSCP), remediate vulnerabilities with cybersecurity, and deploy approved changes through the change request process.

Key Requirements

•US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Federal Public Trust clearance (required).
•Independent troubleshooting and critical thinking to research, test, and resolve unfamiliar macOS and device-management issues before escalating.
•Experience independently administering an enterprise MDM platform (Jamf Pro) with policies, configuration profiles, patching, and Self Service in an environment of 1,000+ devices.
•Bachelor’s degree in information systems (or 4–6+ years of IT administration/engineering experience with direct macOS and enterprise device-management).
•Jamf Certified Tech (200) or equivalent (Jamf Certified Admin (300) a plus).
