Job Summary

Develop and maintain BitOasis’ comprehensive risk management framework for the Bahrain cryptocurrency exchange, covering market, credit, operational, cybersecurity, AML/CFT, and regulatory risks. Identify and assess risks across trading, custody, compliance, technology, and operations, then implement mitigation controls for KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Monitor KRIs, deliver risk reporting to senior management and the board, and support incident response and risk culture training.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework for market, credit, operational, cybersecurity, AML/CFT, and regulatory risks.
•Identify and assess potential risks across trading, custody, compliance, technology, and operations using quantitative and qualitative methods.
•Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls for KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, cybersecurity, and data privacy.
•Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and provide regular risk profile reporting to senior management and the board.
•Collaborate with IT security and compliance on cybersecurity and AML/CFT programs, and manage incident response and post-incident reviews.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
•Minimum 5–7 years in risk management, preferably within financial services.
•Experience in cryptocurrency or fintech sectors is highly desirable.
•Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and relevant regulatory/AML frameworks.
•Master’s degree or professional certifications (FRM, APRM, PRM) preferred.
