Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise local and international clients as part of a project team on new-build or refurbishment projects in the building/construction sector.
  • •Own end-to-end cost steering including cost planning, cost control, and subsequent addendum/change management tied to contract management.
  • •Identify and effectively respond to cost deviations to ensure cost targets are met.
  • •Create meaningful analyses and reports for project stakeholders.
  • •Act as the first point of contact for cost management questions for project management and clients, and support constructive collaboration across departments and planning teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Successfully completed a degree in civil engineering, business engineering, architecture, or a comparable real-estate/construction-related program.
  • •At least 10 years of professional experience in project steering, including at least 5 years in cost steering for demanding building/construction projects.
  • •Specialized in cost management, cost controlling, and commercial steering of construction projects.
  • •Advantageous: experience in public-sector projects, turnkey construction, and complex large projects.
  • •Fluent in German and English, strong communication and presentation skills, and confident use of MS Office.
