Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead all Health, Safety and Environmental activities throughout the construction phase on behalf of the Client.
  • •Ensure construction activities comply with Dubai Municipality safety requirements, UAE Federal HSE legislation, local authority regulations, and project-specific HSE management plans.
  • •Review, monitor, and verify implementation of the Contractor’s HSE management plan and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • •Conduct regular site inspections and HSE audits; verify compliance with ISO 45001/ISO 14001 and required documentation.
  • •Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and dangerous occurrences; determine root causes and oversee corrective and preventative actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, occupational health & safety, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • •NEBOSH International Diploma or NEBOSH Construction Certificate (preferred).
  • •IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) professional qualification.
  • •Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001 (advantageous).
  • •Minimum 10 years’ post-graduate experience in construction HSE, including at least 5 years’ UAE/GCC experience on major construction projects.
