Key Responsibilities

  • •Propose, set up, and manage product and license governance frameworks to ensure continuous compliance for current and upcoming RBI licenses.
  • •Review new regulations for applicability and impact, provide oversight, and partner with cross-functional teams on regulatory implementation.
  • •Support regulatory projects for license discussions, applications, updates, and regulatory structuring as product offerings evolve.
  • •Perform horizon scanning and maintain/update the Regulatory Obligations Register (ROR) based on regulatory notifications.
  • •Independently manage RBI regulatory reporting, lead audits/inspections, monitor compliance risks and KPIs, and design remediation plans.

Key Requirements

  • •7 to 12 years of experience in regulatory compliance or regulatory reporting, preferably in fintech, payments, cross-border remittance, or financial services.
  • •In-depth knowledge of India’s regulatory framework, including payment system regulations and FEMA requirements.
  • •Proven ability to work independently and act pragmatically while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
  • •Strong communication and exceptional stakeholder management, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • •CA, MBA (Finance), law graduate, or a bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably with working knowledge of FEMA.
