Key Responsibilities

  • •Own design and development of complex automation and robotics subsystems for engineering projects across mechanical, electrical, controls, and software domains.
  • •Act as design engineering authority for defined sub-modules, setting hardware/software specifications and ensuring subsystem compatibility and performance.
  • •Conduct detailed analysis for robotic/automation subsystems and resolve complex technical issues affecting operability, reliability, serviceability, manufacturability, and integration.
  • •Build, evaluate, and qualify prototypes (or work with outsourced suppliers) and plan/coordinate testing based on internal standards and reliability requirements.
  • •Provide technical guidance/mentoring for less experienced engineers and contribute/lead small cross-functional projects and remote technical support as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •ME/BE Mechanical or M Tech/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •GD&T knowledge and tolerance stack-up experience.
  • •Hands-on CAD package experience and ability to create/interprete part drawings and specifications for outside suppliers.
  • •Strong technical depth in robotics and automation modules (kinematics, dynamics, mechanism design, motion control, hardware design, prototyping).
  • •Knowledge of mechanical engineering analysis/design and related disciplines (thermodynamics, measurement/control, heat transfer, stress analysis, finite element analysis, system integration).
