Lead Akamai’s Cloud Compute evangelist efforts across the APJ region, serving as a focal point for compute products and partnering with sales teams. You’ll tell the Cloud Compute story to customers, build a regional community to shape product roadmaps, and support PR/analyst engagements. Represent Akamai at events, educate customer-facing organizations on cloud and edge trends, and collaborate with product development to bring customer feedback forward.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage the cloud computing community across the APJ region and operate as a focal point for compute products, assisting with sales efforts.
•Develop a regional customer community to gather feedback for product roadmaps and assist product decisions.
•Lead engagements with journalists and industry analysts in support of PR/AR teams.
•Speak at events on cloud computing trends and the Akamai product portfolio.
•Educate customer-facing organizations on emerging cloud computing trends and bring customer voice back into product development.

Key Requirements

•12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent).
•Expertise in cloud computing and emerging edge computing models.
•Knowledge of cloud and edge security, including securing workloads across hybrid and edge environments.
•Understanding of next-gen AI inference and how it leverages the edge for performance.
•Experience evangelizing technology initiatives in the cloud computing community and building, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
