Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop manufacturing and integration processes (fabrication, work instructions, tooling, inspection procedures, cleanliness, checkouts) and enforce consistency across work centers.
  • •Design and implement tooling and build fixturing for work access and mechanical/avionics/propulsion testing.
  • •Define and document inspection requirements and procedures, then create training for production and inspection processes.
  • •Author planning and test plans to execute processes and collect data that ensures stable quality at increasing production volumes.
  • •Conduct build quality reviews, drive corrective action for repeat/high-impact issues, and collaborate to manage non-conforming hardware and systemic risk.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, materials, manufacturing, chemical, electrical engineering, or engineering physics.
  • •1+ years in manufacturing, quality, and/or design engineering (student project team or internship experience qualifies).
  • •Ability to develop and enforce consistent manufacturing and integration processes across work centers.
  • •ITAR eligibility requirements to work on U.S. export-regulated work (U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations).
  • •Strong collaboration skills across diverse engineering disciplines.
