Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical development of electrical distribution systems for transit depots from preliminary studies through detailed design and construction support.
  • •Design, analyze and revise MV/LV electrical systems serving complex facilities including administrative spaces, maintenance workshops, CVCA systems, lighting, and EV charging infrastructure.
  • •Perform and supervise electrical network studies including short-circuit, arc flash, grounding and protection coordination.
  • •Translate client needs into clear technical requirements and engineering solutions for simple or multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Provide technical supervision and mentoring to design and drafting teams to support talent development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Baccalauréat en génie électrique)
  • •Professional engineer licensed with l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
  • •10+ years of relevant experience including at least 5 years in medium and low voltage systems design
  • •Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electricity Code and Québec Construction Code (Chapter V)
  • •Experience with electric vehicle charging systems for fleets and ability to lead technical teams; bilingual French-English; travel within Canada
