Key Responsibilities

  • •Own production planning from late-stage prototype builds through mass-production ramp at Mach’s Forge factories.
  • •Design high-throughput manufacturing systems targeting first-pass yield and cycle time.
  • •Drive product design optimization using first-principles DFM/A and implement poka-yoke to reduce part count and complexity.
  • •Develop and execute manufacturing launch schedules; lead make-vs-buy studies with supply chain for rate-capable vendors.
  • •Support manufacturing virtual-build events, define the manufacturing system (MBoM/BoP/BoE) in planning tools, manage FAT/SAT, and provide production support during validation and ramp.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in industrial & systems, mechanical, aerospace, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • •3-5+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or industrialization roles.
  • •Strong background in process documentation and quality systems.
  • •Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and process capability.
  • •Hands-on experience with shop floor processes (machining, welding, composites, additive manufacturing, assembly, test) and first-principles DFM/A strategies.
