Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, including detection, correlation, incident building, and response capabilities.
  • •Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations XDR depends on, using first-party Elastic data and third-party security data sources.
  • •Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, including prioritization based on exploitability and reachability and remediation workflows.
  • •Write requirements that engineering can execute without follow-up clarification and translate customer/threat research into product direction.
  • •Represent product in customer conversations with security stakeholders and feed insights back into the roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing, plus a minimum of 3 years in related product development or technical work.
  • •Experience owning product areas from requirements through shipped, iterated outcomes.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensic work (e.g., SOC analyst, detection engineer, or incident responder).
  • •Comfort building or owning products that rely on heterogeneous third-party data and integrations.
  • •A BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security.
