Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and conduct inspections on TTC construction projects, including station upgrades, accessibility improvements, second exits, fire ventilation systems, track work, subway yards, and bus facilities.
•Verify that work materials and methods meet contract requirements and safety standards.
•Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for active construction contracts.
•Issue and follow up on contract deficiency reports, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
•Serve as a liaison between contractors, TTC staff, municipalities, and utility companies while monitoring compliance with safety, security, and operational standards.

Key Requirements

•Completion of a University or College program in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
•Minimum 3+ years of experience inspecting large, multi-discipline or heavy construction capital projects.
•Familiarity with bus garage and car house operations, with experience in civil/structural, mechanical, or electrical disciplines.
•Strong knowledge of construction inspection principles, materials, and equipment.
•Ability to interpret contract drawings and specifications and ensure compliance.
