Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the day-to-day client interface, ensuring client objectives are met through value-added cost management services.
  • •Lead estimating and negotiation of change orders and provide cost planning, including producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Review and coordinate cost estimates with design services and general contractor teams; reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost impact/contingency management, commitment tracking, and post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support timely negotiation and agreement of final accounts, including benchmarking via built cost records.

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
  • •Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large, medium to high complexity construction projects.
  • •Strong construction consultancy experience preferred, with good knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
